Depends if it is rated as 'LIKE' or 'HOT', with 'HOT' having a faster response !

At some point the site was going to upgrade so that only 1 option was available, nothing yet though !

i always figured any vote counted the same.... like or hot.... some pix i like butt aren't really hot, still .... if i comment 'i always vote...
